About

I received my first tarot deck when I was thirteen. It was the Beginner's Guide to Tarot by Juliet Sharman-Burke, a Smith-Waite-based deck that I still use today. As a girl, I would stare at the images for hours, fascinated by the symbols even when I didn't fully understand them. At some point, like so many relics from childhood, the deck got put away.

Years later, I rediscovered the art of tarot and fell in love all over again. I now proudly possess five decks (and counting). I love learning about Jung, archetypes, and the symbols that appear across cultures and time— there is so much I do not know yet, and that is part of what keeps me curious. Currently, my favorite deck to practice with is Tarot of the Divine, which explores folklore and mythology from around the world.

Here is what I believe about tarot:

It is a mirror, not a fortune-telling device. We already hold so many answers — we just need help learning to listen to ourselves. A good reading doesn't tell you what will happen. It helps you notice what is already true.

I have been reading for myself for fifteen years (on and off, as life allows) and for others more recently. I recently read for a bachelorette party, and watching people lean in, get curious, and see something new in themselves inspired me to build this website and share the gift.

How I hope you will feel after a reading with me:

Seen. Heard. Curious. Introspective. I am not here to predict your future. I am simply here to hold up the mirror.

With love & light,

Kay
